It's that time of year again, and it's time to organise your shelves and sweep off the cobwebs 🌬️. But rest asured! We have prepared a top 5 list you need to remember when your little ones are heading off into another school year.

1. Clothing and Footwear

Call up your local school uniform shop in your community, or inquire with the school which shops provide the uniforms, preorder, and book for fittings in August time.

If your worried about going back to school and the price of individual needs building up, you can apply for the BTSCFA to aid in financial cover torwards your child's clothing and shoes in school. Check If Your Child Is Eligable For Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance (BTSCFA)

Check out the Citizen Information website for more information.

Of course, when the kids come home, they may have homework to complete. Make sure theres a space, corner, or table dedicated on school days.

4. Orgainisation Calender

If you want to get really snazzy, why not pop up a calender in the kitchen or beside the door to write in important dates and events so thatyoure reminded everytime you leave the house and can check it off when you're done.

5. To-Do List For The Kids

It's no harm to prepare little to-do lists for the kids to help them get back into their little routines too. These routines can include:

  1. Go to the toilet.
  2. Wash your teeth.
  3. Clean your face.
  4. Brush your hair.
  5. Make your bed.
  6. Have breakfast.
  7. Pack your lunch in your backpack.
Or a to-do list when they get home or a bed-time routine will always help with little reminders. Even if it is just to start them off in the first few weeks.
