Rothlú Irish Jewellery - Cora Earrings in Dark Green/Gold/Aubergine
Dark green textured textile earrings with aubergine/gold half-disc detail. They are finished with a high gloss sheen and measure 4cm in length.
The earring wires are hypo-allergenic gold plated.
The earring wires are hypo-allergenic silver plated.
All our earrings are as detailed on the back as on the front, so they look wonderful from every angle.
As these earrings are one-of-a-kind, each pair I make in this style has its own unique texture and brushstrokes, clearly showing the maker's hand. I can also make variations to order based on this style.
Care for your Rothlú
When not wearing we recommend you store your Rothlú jewellery in the box it came packaged in- this way it is kept away from strong sunlight and the glossy finish will remain unscratched.
Our jewellery’s eco pine resin coating does not like water too much, so please remove before swimming, showering, bathing. We suggest you remove your jewellery before using harsh creams and beauty products. Keep your Rothlú away from direct heat and flammable sources.
A soft lint free cloth will gently clean any residue on the resin surface. If you have a piece with silver plated chain that looses its luster we recommend that you clean it in circular motions with a silver polishing cloth.
About Rothlú
Rothlú Jewellery is made by me, Frances McGonigle, in the Ox Mountains, County Mayo, Ireland.
The Ox Mountains are pre-Ice Age low lying mountains, littered with neolithic tombs. When I’m not making jewellery I paint in the surrounding landscape.
I studied Fine Art: Painting in the Crawford College of Art, Cork. Prior to that I attended Grennan Mill Craft School in Kilkenny, where I discovered batik and loved it. I’ve experimented with this discipline and other resist techniques ever since.
My surroundings are full of textures and hues: my colourful lightweight jewellery is certainly inspired by all of these elements.
